Boots on the Water is a nonprofit organization dedicated to honoring and supporting U.S. military veterans and active duty service members by providing fishing trips that foster connection, reflection, and healing.
Our mission is to offer veterans a meaningful day on the water where fishing camaraderie, and the quiet strength of nature come together to support mental wellness, build community, and honor their service. Angels in Arms
Angels in Arms was founded in Bowling Green, Ohio, in 2020. It is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission of building a stronger community by making the lives of local military veterans, law enforcement personnel and first responders and their families better by easing their burdens in times of need. 100% of all contributions go to those they serve. Bowling Green Parks + Recreation
The City of Bowling Green Parks and Recreation department offers a variety of recreational opportunities for residents and visitors. With playgrounds, soccer fields, baseball fields, basketball courts, walking paths with fitness stations, and fishing areas, the department strives to provide a safe and welcoming environment for all park users.
