Our idea is simple: We hope to connect local veterans and pair them with local volunteer veterans, “Wingmen”, who understand the struggles they are dealing with. Our vision is to provide community, hope, and healing for veterans, especially in Wood County.
We believe: Veterans need connection and support. No veteran should ever have to wait for weeks or months to talk with a mental health professional. And no veteran should have to pay for the mental health support they need.

Trained program directors who can advance our mission: Uniting veterans through shared experiences, peer support, and accountability.

Our Wingman System pairs veterans in need with local veteran volunteers who serve as a personal support system and friend. These Wingmen understand the challenges of PTSD, military transition, and life’s darkest moments because they’ve been there too.
